Galpao Gaucho Brazilian Steakhouse – Our Experience

IMG_3676

The initial Salad bar was good, but I didn’t get to eat that much from it. They had soup, salads, cheeses, bacon, and a number of other items that where all pretty good, but nothing special. However, they did bring some Cheese bread, mashed potatoes and fried bananas, and they where all really good, especially the cheese bread. Then came the main show, which was the meat. As soon as we flipped over our cards, there was just a flow of servers coming over with various cuts of meat. We got several cuts of meat in quick succession, my personal favorite was the ribeye. Then came the server who brought over some golden steaks that he cooked in front of us. To our surprise, he knew a little Chinese and talked to us using a language we were more familiar with, honestly a level of service unmatched by any restaurant I have ever been to. The Golden steak was my personal favorite, all of the other meats where very good as well, with the exception of the skirt steak that was kinda try and too salty.

Overall, pretty good experience, good food and incredible service. If you like meat, come here because you will be very happy. I would recommend the golden steak, and do not buy the deserts here because they are expensive and don’t taste that good to be honest. Ron Swanson would probably enjoy this restaurant more than even Mulligan’s. Thank you for reading 🙂
